愛するJCCAの皆様、

主イエス・キリストの御名によってご挨拶申し上げます。深い感謝と喜びに満ちた期待を胸に、私はJapanese Christian Community in Atlanta (JCCA) の牧師としての役割を担うこととなりました。私たちは共に、福音を中心とした家族として生きるよう召されています。キリストに根ざし、御言葉によって強められ、御霊によって一つとなる家族です。

私たちの「ビジョン」は、この教会が存在する意味を示しています。神の御国の広がりを通して、神の栄光のために弟子を作ることに献身し、福音中心の家族となること。これは単なる宣言ではなく、私たちの鼓動そのものです。このビジョンが、私たちの礼拝の在り方、互いに仕え合う方法、そしてこの街にキリストの光を輝かせる道を形作ります。

私たちの「ミッション（使命）」は明確な焦点を示します：アトランタの日本語を話すコミュニティにイエス・キリストの福音を届けること。その過程で、私たちは文化や世代を越える架け橋となる機会も積極的に受け入れ、訪れるすべての人々がキリストの変革をもたらす愛に出会えるようにします。

コロサイ人への手紙2章6-7節が私たちにこう呼びかけます：

「あなたがたは、このように主キリスト・イエスを受け入れたのですから、彼にあって歩みなさい。キリストの中に根ざし、また建てられ、また、教えられたとおり信仰を堅くし、あふれるばかり感謝しなさい。」

JCCAが、人々がイエスの恵みを体験し、弟子として成長し、勇気をもって御国に仕えるために出て行く教会となることを祈ります。この召しに共に加わることを光栄に思い、この信仰の旅路を共に歩むことを楽しみにしています。

Beloved JCCA family and friends,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! It is with deep gratitude and joyful anticipation that I step into the role of pastor at Japanese Christian Community Atlanta. Together, we are called to live as a Gospel-centered family — rooted in Christ, strengthened by His Word, and united in His Spirit.

Our vision reminds us why we exist: to become a Gospel-centered family, committed to making disciples for the glory of God, through the spread of God’s Kingdom. This is not just a statement, but our heartbeat. It shapes how we worship, how we serve one another, and how we shine the light of Christ in our city.

Our mission gives us a clear focus: to reach the Japanese-speaking community in Atlanta with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As we do so, we also embrace the opportunity to be a bridge across cultures and generations, so that all who enter may encounter the transforming love of Christ.

As Colossians 2:6-7 reminds us:

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

My prayer is that JCCA will be a church where people experience the grace of Jesus, grow as His disciples, and go out with courage to serve His Kingdom. I am honored to join you in this calling, and I look forward to walking this journey of faith together.
